A Hankering

I know that there is a lot of snow remaining on the ground.

I know that the lake is still frozen.

I know that the geese have not yet returned.

But.

Lately I have had a hankering to be here.

Well...the snow is all but gone now. It's been replaced by puddles of standing water from all the rain. Hopefully that clears up soon.

We're looking forward to stopping by sometime when you return to the cottage.
